UT NAADB

Abstract

An online computer program for an interactive database was specifically developed for neutron activation analysis (NAA).  The software written in Java includes gamma-ray catalog, neutron activation calculator for activity calculations and decay schemes. For the novice, expert and educator this program can greatly reduce needed information in NAA.

Information

NAADB is a java based neutron activation analysis database program developed at the University of Texas at Austin. To launch NAADB a minimum of java 1.8.0 runtime environment is needed. To access the WISE Uranium neutron activation calculator and Brookhaven National Laboratories (BNL) NUDAT interactive chart of nuclides an internet connection is required.
